If you are looking for feedback on your own music please post it to /r/abletonfeedback/. However, please take notice of a few rules:ĭiscussion of cracked software will be removed. Questions about synthesis, getting a certain sound with Live, troubleshooting, general or specific production questions and the like are welcome. Hope this helps anyone who had the same problem as me.Please post anything related to Live compatible hardware and software, synths, VSTs, controllers, etc. Switch to a different driver and then go back to ASIO4ALL and your settings should update and it should look like this: At this point you still have ASIO4ALL as your active driver. Once you enable it, exit the Configuration window. This will enable the use of headphones when the ASIO driver is running. You must enable everything under that list including "HD Audio Headphone". On the left side it should say "WDM Device List". So what you need to do is open up "Asio Configuration" in your DAW Preferences. ASIO4ALL causes all sorts of problems for me when I’m just working straight through my headphone jack, I had to set up a virtual driver that my main speakers direct to while Ableton is open (causing all other apps to lose connection to the sound card), I then have to manually open ASIO and switch between the drivers for using Ableton vs if I. It is, but I would just like to inform everybody else who may be encountering this problem in the futureĪt first I didn't have the option to select my headphones from Outputs. You are probably thinking this is an easy fix. I would much rather like to listen to my headphones and not through my desktop speakers. Weird thing is that in Ableton when I hit keys it detects MIDI activity and even shows an audio output (master channel indicator movements) but simply no sound out of the speakers. I have tried installing the latest driver for the keyboard but no improvement. Instead they would output to my desktop speakers. So I try to setup ASIO4ALL, but then no device appears in the setup window of ASIO4ALL. I just encountered an issue on my new desktop, where I was not able to play the audio from my Digital Audio Workstation to my headphones.
